Due to it being a dagger type weapon, stealth is always a good option, must people who use this are often even assassins and have the Shinobi advanced class.
It prioritizes in quick combos with low to medium damage depending on the Tanto tier so that it can either leave you open or that they can rush back in for another picking of your health points. Lastly we have the Japanese study of the dagger, the Japanese term being 'Tanto'. You can gain Kenjutsu experience through hitting things with one of the 3 weapons, as long as the weapon is taking durability damage you are gaining experience from it. Lastly we have the Axe, it has high damage and attack speed but sacrifices that for the range and slight knockback factors. Katana is the balance of the 3 striking decent knockback, attack speed, power and range, think of it as the fist of the 3 choices, excelling in no where and at a disadvantage no where.
The common beginner weapon for this art is often the Nodaci due to it's high damage, high range and high knockback factors, however that is sacrificed over general attack speed making it not such a good weapon for advanced players.
